介绍:The hubby and I decided to check out this new addition to the neighborhood tonight. We were there around 8:00 p.m. and there were 2 other couples eating in. We were greeted at the door and told to sit wherever we liked. There was plenty of seating, so we grabbed one of the 4 tops.

The menu was very simple. It's just a paper menu (not sure if this will change in the future) and had the basics covered - tacos, tortas, quesadillas, burritos, carne asada, enchiladas, and a few other items.

The waiter, George, introduced himself and brought us some chips with red and green salsas. They were both terrific. In fact, I could have eaten the green salsa with a spoon. Fresh, obviously homemade, not overly spicy, but just perfect.

I had the carne asada dinner and the hubby had the 2 taco dinner. Each came with rice and beans, and each was $4.99 (what a steal!).

It only took about 10 minutes for our order to come out, and everything was piping hot. My carne asada was super tender, and cooked to perfection. Mexican places sometimes have a habit of overcooking, but not tonight!

I tried both of the tacos the hubs had. One was steak, and it was terrific, but I was more surprised by the chorizo taco he had. I don't usually like chorizo because it's so greasy, but this one wasn't at all. It was actually really delicious.

The rice and beans were great, and we both (surprisingly) polished off our plates.

At the end of the meal, our total with a Coke and 2 full dinners plus tax came to just over $12. WHAT?! I've spent more than that at a fast food place!

To sum it up, I'll be back. I'll probably be back a lot. George was very nice, and asked us to please spread the word. I was 100% satisfied (which, if you know me, you know isn't easy to accomplish).

On a side note- I checked out the ladies room, and it was VERY clean. It needs some aesthetic work, but it's clean.
