介绍：Whether you love gin or not, Scofflaw is a fantastic cocktail establishment. While it's true that their specialty is mastering innovative and appealing gin drinks, the bartenders are knowledgable and can make you any drink from rum to whiskey. I wanted something not on the menu, so the bartender introduced me to the Cloister. It was a lovely combination of gin, grapefruit, and yellow chartreuse. The bartenders were all friendly, not at all pretentious, and great to converse with while sipping at the bar. When they heard I was visiting and had not tasted the mascot shot of Chicago, Jeppson's malort, they promptly poured me one (they have it on draft). I'd call it fairly bitter, along the lines of fernet. My friend from Chicago says it's like absinthe's bastard child.
