A Food Distributor company located at west side Chicago is looking for a Food buyer and HR Administrator. Duties as follow: Food Buyer Duties: -Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones -Finding the right suppliers -Selecting new products and reviewing the old -Negotiating prices with Vendors -Coordinating with Traffic and Warehousing for timely and efficient movement of inbound and outbound orders. -Source and develop new products or business opportunities -Monitoring and managing the efficient resolution of: gains, losses and aged inventory to achieve Company goals. -Just In time Inventory control by maintaining accurate forecast information in buying system adjusting for seasonal fluctuations and ad needs. HR Administrators: -Assisting site leadership team with travel scheduling, expense reporting, business correspondence, scheduling meetings, and coordinating & preparing presentations -Scheduling interviews for managers; onsite and over phone for candidates and temporary workers - Conducting new employee day-one site introduction; ensuring timely entry of completed paperwork into HRIS and payroll. Reviewing handbook, parking, lunch room, etc. to ensure smooth introduction to site -Other Duties as assigned by the HR manager Job Requirements: -Must have Minimum 2 years experience with profound knowledge of either Poultry/Meat, Seafood or Vegetables Market -Decision making, excellent communication & organizational Skills, strong analytical and PC skills -Associates degree or above preferred in Marketing or food related major -GreenCard Holder or US Citizen only Please send email your resume to HR@bestfoodservice.us if interesting.
